Foraging in a hidden valley

I followed this deer trail today and found the most magical place. Imagine the smell of rain, and sound of bird and frogs, and come on this walk with me!

I had never seen lupines growing wild like this before.

These pink flowers will turn into clumps of blackberries soon...or possibly Marionberries.

This is Scotch Broom, normally bright yellow, but with amazing color variation on this one bush.
