The life of a forget-me-not

My forget-me-nots are in full bloom, and I've been documenting the various stages these flowers have gone through on their way to my latest collection! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

Each piece is actually months in the making, if you factor in all the time it takes for the flowers to grow. In between the last two photos, I made the frames by punching them out of sheet metal, then encased everything in slow layers of resin.
