Deadly nightshade necklace

Belladonna (deadly nightshade) was once said to be an ingredient in a witch's "flying ointment," a hallucinogenic mixture of herbs that allowed the witch to fly. Some thought it caused literal flight, but some considered it only to be spiritual flight. 

This necklace features a black freshwater pearl resembling a nightshade berry, in the center of a silver flower. The pendant hangs from a toggle clasp, so the chain closes in the front.

Materials

This necklace is made entirely of sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper, which is added to make the metal more durable. There is no outer plating- the metal can be polished over and over for a lifetime.

Every order made before 4 pm Eastern time will go to the post office that same day. Canadian friends, due to the postal worker strike, please choose the UPS shipping option at checkout.
