In the Victorian language of flowers, moss was a symbol of motherly love. Moss agate is a stone containing mineral filaments that look like moss or lichen, and this stone is actually a doublet: a slice of moss agate under a dome of clear quartz. The dome magnifies the details and gives an especially clear view of the "moss."
No two stones are alike– I've included lots of pictures so you can see the variety to expect. Some stones have milky white inclusions in addition to green.
There is a cutout in the setting so you can see light passing through the stone. The pendant hangs on a dainty oxidized rope chain.
