Moss agate ring

This ring features a rose cut moss agate cabochon. Moss agate is a gem filled with tiny green mineral filaments that resemble moss or lichen. Each stone is different, so yours may not be pictured here. 

The stone is bezel set and wrapped in twisted silver, fixed to a sturdy band.

Materials

This ring is made entirely of sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper, which is added to make the metal more durable. There is no outer plating- the metal can be polished over and over for a lifetime.
