In the Victorian language of flowers, moss was a symbol of motherly love. Moss agate is a stone containing mineral filaments that look like moss or lichen, and this stone is actually a doublet: a slice of moss agate under a dome of clear quartz. The dome magnifies the details and gives an especially clear view of the "moss."
There is a cutout behind the stone setting, so you can see a bit of your finger through it. The setting is attached to a sturdy double band.
No two stones are alike– I've included lots of pictures so you can see the variety you can expect.
