Garnet rose necklace

This necklace features a blooming rose, hand-cut out of silver. In the middle is a red garnet cabochon. It hangs on a sparkly box chain.

Materials

This necklace is made entirely of sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper, which is added to make the metal more durable. There is no outer plating- the metal can be polished over and over for a lifetime.
