Labradorite star necklace

Labradorite is a gem that displays a flash of color across the surface when you tilt it. 

This necklace features a pear shaped labradorite cabochon with a star underneath. Each stone is slightly different, but the flash is almost all blue with sometimes a hint of green. 

The pendant hangs on a decorative chain with alternating long and short links.

This necklace is made entirely of sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper, which is added to make the metal more durable. There is no outer plating- the metal can be polished over and over for a lifetime.
